About The Role
Buchart Horn is seeking a motivated
IT Technical Support professional to join our IT team. In this role, you will support and maintain workplace technology, respond to end-user requests, and help ensure the overall operational efficiency of our IT environment. You will work closely with employees across the company to troubleshoot issues, deploy hardware and software, and contribute to the security and reliability of our systems.
What You’ll Do
As an IT Technical Support team member, you will take ownership of support requests and provide hands-on assistance to ensure employees have the tools they need to work effectively. You will help install, configure, and maintain hardware and software while supporting day-to-day operations across all offices.
- Take ownership of end-user support requests and see problems through to resolution
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve technical issues
- Ask employees targeted questions to quickly understand the root cause of their problem
- Talk clients through a series of actions either via phone, video conference, email, or remote access until their
- technical issue has been resolved
- Prioritize & manage multiple open issues at once
- Follow up with internal employees to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
- Set up and provide assistance as needed for presentations and meetings requiring use of various A/V equipment
- Recommend improvements to existing software and develop new methods to drive efficiencies
- Provide technical support for all end-user hardware and software needs
- Oversee the configuration of new hardware installations for both new and existing clients
- Monitor security applications across all endpoints
- Decommission electronics for recycling while adhering to proper electronic recycling practices
- Provide backup coverage for any IT tasks as assigned or needed
- Participate in 7/24 on-call support rotation to provide escalation support for network problems and customer

- Keep job knowledge updated by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications,
- participating in professional organizations
- Identify and review new technologies and alternative systems to enhance productivity, security, reliability, or cost
- savings
- Maintain hardware inventory database for all IT related hardware
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support or network maintenance preferred
- A+, Network+, or similar certifications highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and workstation configuration
- Basic understanding of network architecture and capabilities
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
