IT Administrator
Responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's computer systems, networks, and related IT infrastructure. Ensure that all systems are functioning correctly, secure, and up-to-date.
Salary: $69,000-$79,000
Key Responsibilities
System Maintenance and Upkeep:
Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software.
Managing servers, network equipment, and other IT infrastructure components.
Ensuring system integrity and stability.
Troubleshooting And Problem Solving
Identifying and resolving technical issues, both hardware and software.
Providing technical support to users.
Security Management
Monitoring network performance and security.
Implementing and maintaining security measures.
Managing user accounts and access rights.
Data Backup And Recovery
Performing regular backups and developing disaster recovery plans.
Restoring data and systems in case of failures.
Performance Optimization
Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Optimizing IT infrastructure for efficiency and productivity.
Other Duties
Providing user training on new hardware and software.
Staying up-to-date on the latest IT technologies and trends.
Collaborating with other IT professionals and vendors.
Skills And Qualifications
Strong technical skills: Proficiency in various hardware, software, and networking technologies.
Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with users and other IT professionals.
Knowledge of security best practices: Understanding of security threats and how to protect systems.
Experience with relevant IT certifications: Certifications like CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft certifications, etc., can be beneficial.
