Elk Park Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate and curious Veterinarian (DVM) to join our mixed animal practice in beautiful Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We proudly combine traditional Western veterinary medicine with Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and holistic care for companion pets, livestock, horses, alpacas, and even exotic wildlife like elk.

As one of the largest and most trusted veterinary facilities in the region, Elk Park Animal Hospital has been a cornerstone of the community for decades. Our 3,700 sq. ft. facility includes three exam rooms and provides a full range of services five days a week—plus mobile and on-call support for large animals and emergencies.
Our advanced capabilities include:
Digital radiology, orthopedic surgery, dentistry, and in-house diagnostics
Cold laser therapy, herbal medicine, and physical therapy
Chinese medicine and acupuncture integrated with Western approaches
A complete on-site pharmacy for convenience and continuity of care

Dr. Thompson, a respected practitioner and lecturer at the Chi Institute of Traditional Veterinary Medicine, leads our practice with an open heart and deep knowledge of integrative care. He is eager to mentor veterinarians interested in holistic modalities, making this a rare opportunity to grow your skills in both modern and ancient techniques.
