Job Summary:
The VP of Project Management is a key member of the company's senior management team, responsible for the overall strategic planning, execution oversight, and performance improvement of the company's project management system. This position ensures that all projects are aligned with the company's strategic goals and delivered efficiently within time, cost, and quality constraints. The VP of Project Management is not only an executor of project operations but also a leader in cross-departmental collaboration, organizational change, and project culture development.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and System Development
Develop and optimize the company's overall project management strategy, process system, and standardized framework;
Establish and improve the Project Management Office (PMO) and promote the implementation of the project governance system;
Ensure that project strategy is aligned with the company's business objectives, forming an end-to-end project management closed loop.
Project Execution and Delivery Management
Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of key company projects;
Establish an efficient project tracking mechanism to ensure projects are delivered on time, to quality, and within budget;
Manage project risks and respond quickly to changes in project scope, resources, or the external environment.
Team Building and Leadership
Lead and develop the project management team (including project directors, project managers, and coordinators);
Build a high-performance culture and promote cross-departmental collaboration and resource sharing;
Organize project management training and certification to improve team professionalism and execution.
Process Optimization and Performance Management
Continuously optimize project processes and tools to improve management efficiency and transparency;
Establish a project performance evaluation system (KPI) to drive data-driven decision-making improvement;
Promote the construction of information, automation, and digital platforms for project management.
Risk Control and Compliance Supervision
Establish a systematic project risk assessment and response mechanism;
Supervise project compliance execution to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies;
Participate in the audit, review, and improvement of major projects.
Strategic Collaboration and Communication Management
Work closely with the CEO, COO, and other senior executives;
Participate in the development of the company's medium- and long-term development strategies, providing project feasibility and resource recommendations;
Report project progress and performance indicators regularly to management and the board of directors.
External Cooperation and Resource Expansion
Maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers, investors, and partners;
Promote external project cooperation and strategic alliances to facilitate resource integration and business expansion;
Represent the company in negotiations and signings for major projects.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above in Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field;
Preference will be given to candidates with professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or MBA;
Over 10 years of project management experience, including at least 5 years in senior management positions (e.g., PMO Director, Project Director, or VP of Operations);
Familiarity with international project management systems (PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, Lean, etc.);
Excellent strategic thinking, organizational and coordination, communication, and leadership skills;
Excellent risk awareness, business judgment, and data-driven decision-making ability;
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in multinational corporations, fintech, digital assets, engineering construction, or large enterprise management.
