Join MGC's Litigation Team in South Carolina!MGC is an industry leading civil litigation firm celebrating 30 years of excellence in 2025 spanning 23 offices across 12 states.
We are seeking experienced Coverage attorneys to join our Litigation team. Remote/hybrid options will be considered after training/integration with the team.
Our associates are given hands on experience in all phases of civil litigation from case inception to trial, as well as direct client contact. We offer competitive compensation with monthly bonus opportunities.
Ideal candidates will have seven or more years of insurance coverage litigation or other relevant experience, and will be based in South Carolina. Must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina. This position can be based out of any of our South Carolina offices (Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, or Myrtle Beach). A portable book of business is also a plus.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:- Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
- Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
- Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports
- Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary
- Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants
