Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow SAM Architect with expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) to lead the implementation, optimization, and governance of ServiceNow ITAM/SAM modules.
The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge and strategic insight to streamline asset lifecycle processes and ensure compliance with licensing policies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow ITAM/SAM modules to optimize asset and software management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ITAM/SAM solutions within the broader ITSM framework.
- Analyze current asset management processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with software licensing and asset management policies using ServiceNow capabilities.
- Provide expert guidance on configuration, customization, and troubleshooting of ITAM/SAM tools.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity in asset repositories through imports, reconciliations, and audits.
- Design, develop, and maintain ITAM/SAM workflows and dashboards in ServiceNow.
- Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to licensing agreements.
- Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on ServiceNow ITAM/SAM functionalities.
- Lead incident and problem management related to IT asset and software asset management tools.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using asset management metrics.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the ITAM skill cluster.
Required Qualifications- 7 to 11 years of relevant IT experience with a focus on ServiceNow ITAM/SAM.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITAM-HAM and ITAM-SAM modules.
- Experience with ServiceNow Runtime Fabric (RTF) and Kubernetes environments.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow platform configuration including identity and client management, roles, and access.
- Understanding of integration strategies including microservices, messaging, queuing, and API management.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow enterprise security features such as policies and role-based access.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux scripting and command-line tools.
