Role: Desktop Support IV
Location: Madison, WI
is looking for a Desktop Support professional. This staff will maintain a working knowledge of internal computer system. The technician will be in charge of repairing and maintaining thousands of desktops, laptops and other PC devices. They will also be installing new PC's and laptops to replace end of life cycle equipment. The technician will be doing those tasks while maintaining inventory and properly disposing of outdated equipment by recycling those items per DOC policies. The technician will also maintain and close work orders in the DOC ticketing system. The technician receives oversight from the Field Tech Manager to ensure that policy, procedure and methodology are being followed.
Additional details: The candidate will need to have the ability to carry 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours. This may not be required daily but is a requirement.
Must have a valid WI Driver’s License and their own vehicle. The tech will work 4 ten hours days.
