Job Summary (List Format) for CTO – Long beach, NJ (mostly Remote)

Serve as both a hands-on leader and visionary, driving overall technology strategy and execution.
Oversee design, development, and optimization of the company’s proprietary JavaScript-based logistics application.
Build, hire, and mentor a remote-first IT team, with responsibility for scaling the department as the company grows.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business objectives and company growth plans.
Make key decisions on system architecture, scalability, and security to ensure the platform’s efficiency and future readiness.
Cultivate a team culture focused on accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
Leverage strong software development background (ideally in JavaScript) to contribute technically when needed.
Utilize experience in parcel logistics or related fields to inform technology decisions (required).
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Position is mostly remote, with occasional on-site meetings in Long Branch, NJ.
