Overview: The Systems Administrator / Engineer will be responsible for supporting Xurrent’s high touch internal IT experience including user onboarding, timely resolution of technology-related issues, and implementation and configuration of tools. This role requires excellent problem solving, a strong ability to operate independently, and excellent stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities:
End-User Support & Onboarding
- Provide high-quality IT onboarding experience for all new staff members to ensure maintenance of company compliance and security standards
- Provide knowledgeable and friendly IT support for all Xurrent staff members including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Systems & Tool Administration
- Purchase, track, and manage Xurrent owned and issued hardware and accessories for all staff members
- Act as the primary administrator for all centrally managed company software. Maintain process for system administration, adoption, and renewals
- Support and configure automated deployment and maintenance of Apple Macbooks, and printer hardware in the offices and remotely deploy and maintain network hardware in the offices
Infrastructure & Security
- Maintain and secure Google Workspace, monitor usage and health of global technology infrastructure, contribute to system documentation and the preparation of basic user training materials
- Act as the technical liaison when implementing IT projects
- Partner with Compliance and Security Management on security requirements
- Research information security standards
- Conduct system security analyses and risk assessments
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a support function for a global company with a hybrid working arrangement is required.
- Demonstrated experience with deploying/collecting laptops and other hardware at a global scale for supporting a hybrid work environment is essential
- Demonstrated experience operating change management and access control processes
- Experience in end user computing device installation, configuration, and troubleshooting (Mac)
- Experience with identity provisioning through SAML and SCIM with Okta
- Knowledge of Google Workspace and Apple hardware and software deployment
- Strong understanding of networking technology, network access and network administration
