Job Summary (List Format) – Service Desk / Desktop Support Engineer

Rockville, MD Onsite

Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
Manage and maintain Windows 7/10/11 environments on HP/Dell hardware
Support remote users using tools such as LogMeIn, TeamViewer, and Remote Desktop
Configure and troubleshoot Office 365, Exchange 2013, and Outlook, including email migrations and archiving
Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and user account management (password resets, group assignments)
Install and support antivirus software (e.g., SOPHOS, Symantec, TrendMicro)
Troubleshoot and maintain third-party applications (Adobe, Skype for Business, Chrome, etc.)
Provide support for MAC laptops and configure mobile devices (iOS/Android)
Monitor and resolve IT tickets using ITSM tools such as Cherwell and Track-IT
Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and replacements (RAM, HDD, motherboards)
Ensure compliance with ITIL processes (incident, change, configuration management)
Document technical procedures and provide training/support to end users
Work both independently and as part of a team in a 24x7 IT support environment
Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
Possess 7+ years of experience in desktop support/service desk operations
Preferred certifications: ITIL v2, MCSE
