Full-time Evenings Registered Nurse (RN)to join our team at
Roxbury Correctional Institutionlocated in
Hagerstown, Maryland.The
Registered Nurse (RN)(Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Available shift:Evening shift, 3:30 pm - 12A, rotating weekendsQualifications- Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
- Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Prior nursing experience not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
