POSITION OVERVIEW: The Director, Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading critical Talent Acquisition initiatives and managing the Talent Acquisition Team for our Early Childhood Education (ECE) division. The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced environment, has managed a remote team, and has a track record of executing comprehensive Talent Acquisition strategies with successful results. This role requires a strategic thinker with a bias for action, the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently, a passion for process improvement, and a keen ability to inspire a team.
Success in this role will be realized by establishing and maintaining a high-performing team with measured results in improving hiring quality and efficiency, with positive longer-term impacts of employee retention and satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Identify talent needs within the business and design talent acquisition strategies to directly meet those needs.
- Design and implement a comprehensive service delivery model that addresses and meets the business needs of the division.
- Develop and manage employee value proposition themes and messaging across multi-brand, national division.
- Determine and optimize the best mix of recruitment marketing strategies, including a data-driven approach to assessing results and adjusting to meet the needs of different markets.
- Orchestrate the execution of designated strategies in a way that is measured and has a direct, positive impact to the business.
- Lead and manage a team of Talent Acquisition Partners hiring for school staff including teachers and administrators.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to the team on recruitment best practices to drive performance while meeting company goals.
- Collaborate with divisional leadership to identify and align on talent priorities and initiatives.
- Develop and implement standardization across the recruitment process from initial job posting to candidate screening, and through onboarding.
- Collaborate with the school leadership team to identify manager training opportunities as well opportunities to capture efficiencies.
- Establish and standardize processes and expectations to ensure a positive candidate experience across the hiring continuum from first touch to onboarding.
- Establish meaningful Talent Acquisition KPIs for team management that drive elevated service results and has a measurable, positive impact on the business
- Create and maintain regular reporting on team performance.
- Collaborate across divisional TA segments and contribute to elevating TA capabilities across the enterprise.
- Participate in and contribute to key divisional and enterprise-wide, people-focused initiatives like increasing employee retention, elevating employee satisfaction, leadership development, etc.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor's Degree or related experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
- 4+ years of experience in nation-wide, high-volume recruitment.
- Experience hiring in education, service industry, or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
