Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, observation and evaluation of nursing care functions and performance relating to the nursing team. Concerned with patient care, treatment, safety and comfort during assigned shift.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required. Current license to practice nursing in New York State. One-year (1) RN experience preferred, preferably in a critical care setting. Must possess current CPR certification before patient care can commence. ACLS and PALS certifications prior to the end of unit orientation are required. Completion of ENA orientation modules assigned within 1 year of employment in the Emergency Department. New graduate nurses or newly licensed nurses are required to take the Nurse Residency Class. TNCC, ENPC and CEN are highly recommended.
Salary: $35.27 - $47.73/hour, DOE; w/a $15,000 sign on bonus for fulltime & prorated for part-time
Day Shift: 7a-7:30p
Evening Shift: 11am-11:30pm
Night Shift: 7p-7a
