The Perk & Press is a fast paced, quick serve restaurant serving salads, sandwiches, soups, flatbreads & more. We close daily at 4pm freeing up your evenings for time with your friends & family.
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the head chef
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
- Follow food safety standards and procedures
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
- Support the kitchen team in various tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices
- Familiarity with culinary terminology and techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members
