Summary
Responsible for overseeing and managing project initiatives impacting SARSTEDT's transformation efforts. This involves ensuring the successful execution of cross-functional projects by accomplishing the objectives in sync with business strategies and goals. The project manager works closely with various stakeholders, senior leadership, project teams and employees, to achieve desired project outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as apparent or required by management.
Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver on project objectives.
Develop full-scale project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Communicate adjustments as needed.
Define and track project success criteria and effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders throughout project life cycle.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among various departments.
Draft, submit and manage budget proposals before and during the project. Communicate any required changes to senior leadership.
Proactively manage any changes in scope, identify and manage issues and risks, develop and communicate mitigation plans.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Establish business cases to support projects, including post go live business case review.
Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, & tools to improve management of capital projects.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful elements and areas of improvement.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and work with departments to implement improvement projects

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years' experience leading large scale projects for multinational corporations.
PMP certification or similar preferred; or proven experience leading high profile, multi-disciplinary projects (ERP implementation, large CapEx projects, production relocation/transfer).
Experience with project management tools.
Strong project management skills, including planning, execution and risk management.
Proven Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
