Join Casey's Vehicle Maintenance team as the Manager, Fleet Services!
As the Manager, Fleet Services, you'll be responsible for supporting the strategic and daily activities of Casey's transport maintenance operations. In this role, you'll have oversight of the day to day fleet maintenance facility and maintaining Casey's Fleet Maintenance Training Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, implement, and maintain a training program that will drive, align, and contribute to the standardization of procedures for all preventative and reactive maintenance activities within transport operations among maintenance facilities. Participate and facilitate on-site training at our maintenance facilities and/or 3rd party vendor sites.
- Stay informed of and implement efficiencies and best practices. Enforce personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
- Support company goals and continue to drive out third party cost and limit downtime of our fleet.
- Conduct training with team members relative to issues found during the evaluation and/or audits at the site level.
- Perform root cause analysis of issues and assist the team in developing strategies to improve the operations. This includes supporting development of new service standards.
- Complete equipment transfers on new and used equipment in a timely manner.
- Drive and develop key metrics/KPI's that will support driving throughput and increased uptime throughout Casey's supporting facilities.
- Responsible for hiring, training, salary administration, performance management, coaching and corrective actions for direct reports. Acts as a champion of a committed and empowering culture, working with direct reports and team members on modeling Casey's values.
Compensation:Starting pay range: $74,200 - $97,300. Actual pay may vary based on Casey's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance field. Strong knowledge of the procedures used in the repair and maintenance of gas and diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of proper maintenance and repair techniques required to maintain a fleet of motor vehicles including various light-duty vehicles, semi-tractors, refrigerated trailers and gas transports.
- Excellent knowledge of all types and use of special tools and electronic test equipment common to the automotive repair trade.
- Must have the ability to keep apprised of current technology in repairing and diagnosing vehicles, equipment, and their component systems.
- In-depth knowledge of regulations, standards and guidelines pertaining to the work, including state and federal inspection guidelines.
- ASE Certifications preferred T-2 thru T-7 required.
- Work is typically performed inside a regular service setting.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, and loading supplies and equipment up to 30lbs on a frequent basis.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have the physical ability to drive a vehicle for job related travel.
- Must be able to travel up to 20% of the year.
