Why Foster?
🐾 You get to love and care for a dog without the long-term commitment.
🐾 You save TWO lives—the one you foster and the one who takes their place in rescue.
🐾 It’s rewarding, fulfilling, and fun!
What We Need From You:
✅ Age: 21+
✅ Home Environment: NO SMALL DOGS, CATS, or SMALL CHILDREN. Most of our dogs are large (60-100 lbs), so you must be comfortable with big dogs.
✅ Commitment to Events: Be available to bring your foster dog to Petco in West Hollywood every other Saturday for adoption events and to pick up supplies.
✅ Vet and Meet & Greets: Be able to take the dog to vet appointments and meet potential adopters.
✅ Household Approval: Everyone in your home must agree to fostering.
✅ Time Commitment: Minimum four-week commitment preferred. Short-term fostering helps, but long-term fosters truly make the biggest impact!

🐶Tiger – Needs a foster ASAP
A 1 year old Pitbull mix who just needs someone to help him with his training. He needs someone who is confident and willing to work with him on reactivity to other dogs. He may be a pup but he is strong! We need a foster who can take him as soon as possible. Can you help us get this guy into the loving home that he deserves?
🐶 Samuel – Needs a foster ASAP
A 5-6 year old Pitbull mix who has been working on his training. He’s reactive to people and dogs at first but improves with time and patience. He must be muzzled in public. We need a foster by April 1st to continue his rehabilitation.
🐶 Bruce – Needs a foster ASAP
A big lovable bulldog, Bruce loves hard and can play harder. He can be very protective of his person and needs someone with patience and confidence to continue his training and make him feel safe and secure. Can you be his new best friend?
