Maintenace Mechanic Assistant needed in the City of San Diego for where they manufacture frozen fruit bars.
This position will perform all maintenance functions for production equipment, including routine inspection and repair or replacement of defective/ faulty parts on machines and related equipment. The candidate must work full-time and be flexible with working overtime and weekends during the high peak season. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance and 2 years of experience in electrical work is required. The ability to speak, write, and read Spanish is a plus
Job Duties:
Perform repair and maintenance involving disassembly, overhaul, assembly, and adjustments.
Maintain proper tool/parts inventory for specified jobs.
Complete maintenance projects on time to ensure production goals.
Maintain up-to-date written or data input spreadsheets on all equipment repairs.
Ensure that all equipment repairs are performed accurately to the manufacturer's standards.
Performs other miscellaneous mechanical and maintenance duties as assigned.
Read and write in English/Spanish a Plus.
Mechanically Inclined with the ability to Maintain parts inventory and contact list.
Read Blueprints and Schematics, Read and Understand Equipment manuals.
Must possess a 2-year electrical experience and be able to Diagnose equipment and control panel failures.
