Position Summary

The Shift Lead supports daily restaurant operations by supervising team members, ensuring operational standards are met, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role serves as a leader on duty and works closely with management to maintain performance, quality, and service standards.

As a Shift Lead, you will:

Lead and support Crew Members during shifts to ensure smooth operations
Provide coaching, direction, and real-time feedback to team members
Deliver excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally
Ensure food quality, accuracy, and presentation meet Wingstop standards
Monitor and enforce food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness requirements
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and shift reporting
Delegate tasks effectively to maintain efficiency during peak business periods
Support training and onboarding of new team members
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Step into Crew Member responsibilities as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Dependable, accountable, and team-oriented
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation

Pay Range: $22 per hour – $22 per hour

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, location, and business needs.

This position is eligible for applicable minimum wage laws, and compensation will comply with all federal, state, and local wage requirements.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:

Stand and walk for extended periods

Work in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment

Work Environment

This role operates in a restaurant environment with exposure to heat, noise, and kitchen equipment. Team members are expected to follow all safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.
