The DarkStar Group, a GRVTY Company is seeking a Software Developer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Dulles, VA. THE PROGRAM

The DarkStar Group is a member of 100% of the winning teams for the largest technology program in the Intel Community. We've been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013. The Role

The Software Developer position requires the ability to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug complex software applications. The candidate must be passionate about programming, passionate about quality, and enjoy communicating and working with end-users. The ability to work in a team environment is critical. Ability to provide support for both the legacy systems and new system being brought online. The ideal candidate will have a background in C# development, building and leveraging Azure services and has designed modern data warehouse solutions.

Duties:

Support a team in maintaining and enhancing applications.
Tracking highly technical data on a regular basis and working closely with team members to retain the information for analytical/troubleshooting efforts.
Communicate with team members to clarify requirements and overcome obstacles to meet the team goals
Develop cutting edge solutions to maximize the performance, scalability, and distributed processing capabilities of the system
Work with development teams using agile software development methodologies
Maintain appropriate technical training to ensure skills are kept current with evolving technology
Performs other duties as assigned at the direction of Project Management

Required Skills

Three (3) or more years of experience in either C# or Java
Experience developing Windows Desktop applications
Experience with Relational SQL databases and/or ArcGIS
Demonstrated understanding of internet protocols and networking technologies using by Internet Service Providers to provision their networks, including MPLS and Ethernet VLAN
