Now Hiring: Chapter 13 Paralegal Specialist, In Person

Pay: 28-35 per hour
Schedule: Part time to Full time

Tang & Associates PLC is seeking an experienced Chapter 13 Paralegal Specialist to join our in person team. We are looking for someone with strong Chapter 13 experience who can handle petitions, schedules, plans, motions, objections, amendments, and follow up tasks with accuracy and urgency.

Key duties include:
• Preparing Chapter 13 petitions, schedules, statements, and plans
• Drafting motions, objections, declarations, and amendments
• Assisting with motions to value, avoid liens, modify plans, incur debt, and sell or refinance property
• Reviewing supporting documents including pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, and business records
• Communicating with clients regarding missing documents, updates, signatures, and deadlines
• Tracking hearings, trustee issues, objections, and filing deadlines
• Using Best Case and internal systems to prepare and manage cases
• Supporting attorneys with Chapter 13 case progression from filing through confirmation and post confirmation work

Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of bankruptcy paralegal or legal assistant experience
• Chapter 13 experience strongly preferred
• Motion drafting experience strongly preferred
• Best Case experience strongly preferred
• Strong organization, communication, and deadline management skills
