Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our Southern California sales organization.
This is a remote leadership position responsible for recruiting, developing, coaching, and managing a high-performing team of residential solar sales professionals while driving regional revenue growth.
The ideal candidate has proven experience managing solar sales teams, building dealer relationships, and consistently exceeding sales goals through strong leadership and strategic execution.

Responsibilities
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and mentor high-performing solar sales representatives.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
• Coach team members through ride-alongs, virtual training, and one-on-one performance reviews.
• Monitor sales KPIs, pipeline activity, close ratios, and forecasting accuracy.
• Build and strengthen relationships with dealer partners and referral sources.
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to improve customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, permitting requirements, and industry best practices.
• Conduct weekly sales meetings and ongoing product and sales training.
• Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and growth opportunities.
• Represent Solar Center at regional meetings, recruiting events, and industry conferences.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of residential solar sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years leading or managing successful sales teams.
• Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales targets.
• Strong recruiting, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
• Ability to interpret sales metrics and develop data-driven strategies.
• Self-motivated with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Valid California driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Southern California as needed.
Preferred
• NABCEP or other solar industry certifications.
• Experience managing dealer networks.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
