* Must understand residential construction: walls, studs, beams, joists, attics and crawlspaces
* Able to plan difficult cable routes and minimize drywall damage
* Experienced with RJ45 termination, keystones, patch panels & cable testing
* Experience installing security cameras, WiFi access points and speakers
* Comfortable installing outdoor PVC/EMT conduit and bending EMT
* Able to work safely in attics, crawlspaces, ladders and tight spaces
* Must be able to lead a job site and direct a helper
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Experience

Candidates with electrical, electrician, handyman, construction, drywall/patching or AV experience will receive priority consideration.

Experience with electrical outlets, lighting, drywall patching and general residential construction is a major plus.

Electrical license is not required.

Important

We are specifically looking for someone experienced with residential retrofit work. Commercial-only cabling experience or experience primarily as a helper is not sufficient for this position.
