Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative to manage our front desk and drive sales. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our walk-in clients, phone callers, and email inquiries. You will guide customers through our sign and printing options, provide accurate estimates, manage project orders from quote to pickup, and coordinate closely with our production team.
This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted role ideal for someone with strong communication skills, an organized mindset, and a passion for helping local businesses find the right visual solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction: Greet walk-in clients warmly, answer incoming phone calls, and respond to email inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Consultation & Sales: Assess customer needs, explain various signage and printing options, and guide them toward the best products for their budget and goals.
Estimating & Ordering: Prepare accurate price quotes, create sales orders, process payments, and collect necessary project files or artwork.
Order Tracking & Communication: Coordinate project timelines with the production and installation crew, keeping customers updated every step of the way.
Front Desk Management: Maintain an organized, professional reception area, manage product samples, and handle basic administrative tasks.
Art & File Prep (Basic): Review customer-submitted files for basic print readiness (training provided on shop-specific standards).

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, inside sales, or an administrative front-desk role (sign or print shop experience is a major plus!).
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a genuinely friendly, approachable demeanor.
Organization & Detail: Strong multitasking abilities, capable of tracking multiple orders, quotes, and customer follow-ups without missing a beat.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating computers, Point of Sale (POS) systems, email, and basic office or design software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or basic Adobe/Corel).
Problem-Solver: A proactive attitude with the ability to listen to client needs and offer helpful, creative solutions.
