Position Summary
Randy’s Donuts is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to support our accounting, payroll, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accounts payable processing, accounts receivable activities, payroll support, and daily cash reconciliations. This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Known around the world for our iconic rooftop donut and deep roots in pop culture, Randy’s Donuts is entering an exciting phase of expansion. This position plays a critical role in ensuring administrative and financial accuracy across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Enter and process vendor invoices accurately and timely in the accounting system.
• Review vendor statements and assist with accounts payable reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts receivable activities, including customer invoicing, cash applications, and collection follow-up.
• Perform daily cash clearing and reconciliation activities.
• Review and update weekly payroll timecards, including the correction of missed punches and the processing of sick pay entries.
• Assist with maintaining accurate payroll records and supporting payroll processing activities.
• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, reports, and supporting documentation.
• File and organize accounting and payroll records in accordance with company policies.
• Respond to vendor, customer, and employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and other accounting projects as assigned.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
• 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or administrative experience.
• Experience with payroll processing and timekeeping systems.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with QuickBooks, ADP, or similar accounting and payroll software preferred.
• Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of financial and employee information.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $21.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
