Quality Gate, Inc., located in **Fallbrook, California**, is looking for a dependable, motivated **Gate Service Technician** to join our team. We install, service, troubleshoot, and repair automatic gate and access-control systems throughout San Diego County.

We are hiring **both experienced technicians and entry-level candidates** who are interested in learning the automatic gate industry.

**COMPENSATION**

Applicants with automatic gate, access-control, electrical, and troubleshooting experience are encouraged to apply. Compensation is negotiable based on your level of experience, qualifications, and ability to work independently in the field.

No gate experience? We are willing to train the right person. Starting wage will depend on previous work experience, mechanical ability, and related skills. There are opportunities for wage increases as training progresses and skills are developed.

**EXPERIENCE WE VALUE**

• Automatic/electric gate operators
• Swing and slide gate systems
• Access-control systems
• Keypads, telephone entry systems and card readers
• Safety loops, photo eyes and other safety devices
• Low-voltage electrical troubleshooting
• Diagnosing gate operators and control boards
• Preventative maintenance and service calls

Experience with **LiftMaster, DoorKing, Viking, HySecurity, FAAC** or similar equipment is a plus.

Related experience in electrical, low voltage, garage doors, construction, welding, automotive/mechanical repair, or another hands-on trade is helpful but not required.

We are looking for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys working with their hands, has good problem-solving skills, and is interested in learning a skilled trade.

• Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record

• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving ability
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to learn and take direction
• Reliable transportation to and from our Fallbrook location

**POSITION**

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• Based in **Fallbrook, CA**
• Field service position
• Residential, commercial and HOA properties throughout San Diego County
