Mileage Quest is a FinOps documentation platform built by CPAs and tax professionals that replaces manual mileage logs with automated, GPS-verified, IRS-aligned records. Organizations across healthcare, home health, education, real estate, consulting, field services, and distribution use it to protect deductions, close compliance gaps, and give financial and operational leaders clean visibility into every mile driven on company time. THE ROLE

This is a founding sales role. You will not inherit a playbook. You will help build one.

You will own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, discovery, demo, negotiation, and close. Your buyers are finance directors, HR leaders, operations managers, and CFOs at organizations whose employees drive for a living. You will help them see what inaccurate mileage is actually costing them and position Mileage Quest as the infrastructure fix, not another app on the stack.

This role reports directly to the CEO. The deals you close, the objections you hear, and the verticals you open will shape the product roadmap, the go-to-market motion, and the team that gets built around you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Prospect and close new business with mid-market accounts in target verticals: healthcare, home health, education, real estate, consulting, and field services
Run discovery that surfaces the real cost of the problem, not just feature interest, and build ROI cases that tie mileage accuracy to dollars and compliance exposure
Conduct tailored demos that map the platform to each buyer's specific operational reality
Maintain a disciplined pipeline with clean CRM records, accurate forecasts, and consistent follow-through
Build long-term relationships with finance, HR, and operations stakeholders as a trusted advisor, not just a vendor
Surface expansion and upsell opportunities within existing accounts
Represent Mileage Quest at SHRM events, industry conferences, and vertical-specific engagements
Bring structured market intelligence back to product and leadership so every deal makes the company smarter

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Proven B2B SaaS closing experience in financial operations, HR technology, payroll, compliance, or a closely adjacent space
A track record of navigating multi-stakeholder deals where finance, HR, and operations each have a seat at the table
The ability to build ROI cases grounded in operational and financial impact, not feature benefits
Experience selling into field-based industries: home health, healthcare services, education, real estate, consulting, or nonprofits
Discovery instincts. You ask better questions than most, and you hear what the buyer did not quite say
Pipeline discipline. Your CRM reflects reality and your forecasts hold up
Clear communicator across levels. You can walk a CFO through a compliance exposure and an HR director through a workflow problem in the same conversation
Self-directed and accountable. You build structure in environments that do not yet have it

COMPENSATION

Base salary: $70,000 to $85,000 depending on experience, plus uncapped commission
