We are looking for a Kitchen Exhaust Hood Cleaning Technician(s) to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, good attitude, and a desire to learn new skills.

Experience is not required. Our team will provide on-the-job training and proper personal protective equipment to safely perform and learn the duties of the position.

This is a full-time non-exempt position reporting to work Sunday through Thursday during the night shift. Shift hours vary, but jobs are generally conducted between the hours of 6 PM – 6 AM.

Company truck and materials are provided.

Service Technician
Starting at $20-$24 Hourly working alongside a partner to perform kitchen exhaust cleaning services for establishments with commercial cooking facilities. This process includes grease removal from these systems to ensure fire safety and cleanliness for the location. Our professional service is structured around each customers’ schedule to avoid interruption of business operations and therefore requires a flexible work schedule. Normal scheduled days are Sunday evenings to Friday-Mornings, occasional Friday evenings upon customer request. In addition to hourly wages there is opportunity for monthly bonus based on performance. Due to business growth/customer demand there is opportunity for quick advancement. No formal education or training is required (On the Job Training).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Service Technician for Maximum Exhaust Cleaning, you will be a member of a service team focused on customer service, work ethic, and integrity with the following responsibilities:
• Take instruction from company management and perform jobs as assigned at specific locations on specific dates and times.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Communicate with customers in a professional, respectful manner regarding any questions, problems, or concerns they may have.
• Accomplish the tasks at hand and ensure job detail is being accomplished safely, professionally, and completed to company standards.
• Treat co-workers fairly and in an unbiased way, being an example of integrity, professionalism, and safety.
• Clean and maintain commercial kitchen hood and exhaust systems according to NFPA 96 standards.
• Work night shifts, typically ranging from 6 to 10 hours per night, depending on scheduled jobs.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify issues in ventilation systems.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals.
• Provide detailed post-service reports with photographs.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with supervisors and the team for quality service.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license or ID.
• Be willing to work nights (GRAVEYARD) and or early morning hours.
• Be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident Card
• Speak English and or Spanish
• Be willing to work cooperatively and proactively with coworkers and management.
• Demonstrate good verbal communication skills.
• Pass background check.
• Pass a drug test. (excluding THC)
• Work on feet for 8 hours at a time.
• Work on knees for 30 minutes at a time.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Work in small/tight areas.
• Ability to climb a ladder and work at varying heights.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces intermittently.
• Have transportation to and from work.
