Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Department Physician to join our team at Klickitat Valley Health, a rural critical access hospital. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a close-knit community setting. Our emergency department is a cornerstone of the local healthcare system, delivering essential services to patients with a wide range of urgent health needs.

Our ED Physicians work 24-hour shifts, with an average census of 15 visits/day. The ER is staffed with one physician, two RNs and one ED Tech. Life-Flight base only 30 miles away allowing for extremely fast air transfer response time. Comfortable sleep room near ER available for physician on duty. Full-time benefits are offered at six 24-hour shifts per month. Benefits package includes M/D/V/Rx, Short & Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, Retirement, Paid Time Off, CME, license and professional membership fees, and malpractice insurance. Klickitat Valley Health is a rural, critical-access hospital (trauma level 4) located in scenic Goldendale, Washington only two hours from Portland along the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge. KVH offers emergency and acute inpatient care and a full scope of ancillary services including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Wound Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, PT / OT, Behavioral Health, Dental, Optometry, Retail Pharmacy and Hospice. The hospital also owns a busy, well-established primary care and same day appointment clinic that is located on hospital campus. Inpatient care is managed by 24/7 Hospitalist staff. KVH employs 300 staff and is one of the largest employers in the county.
