Job Overview

Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Social Video Editor / Creative Content Lead to join the Brand Social team supporting HBO and Max. This role is ideal for someone with a strong editorial point of view, hands-on video editing expertise, and experience leading junior creatives. You'll help develop engaging social-first content for major campaigns including the Emmys, theatrical releases, Comic-Con, and library content.

Key Responsibilities

Create and edit engaging social-first video content.
Manage and review work from a Motion Designer and Junior Editor.
Provide creative direction and editing feedback.
Research editing trends and social content inspiration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop brand-focused creative concepts.
Support multiple high-profile entertainment and cultural campaigns.

Required Skills

4+ years of professional video editing experience.
Strong portfolio showcasing social-first creative work.
Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and CapCut.
Strong creative storytelling and editing point of view.
Experience mentoring or managing junior creative team members.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Background

Entertainment industry experience is a plus.
Candidates from beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands are also highly encouraged.
