An established and forward-thinking organization is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Systems Administrator to join its Information Technology team. This role is ideal for a well-rounded IT professional with strong experience across system infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise application environments.

As a key member of the infrastructure team, you’ll ensure high availability and performance of critical systems, lead troubleshooting and configuration efforts, manage backups and disaster recovery, and contribute to long-term IT strategy and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, manage, and maintain servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
Administer Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, MFA, SSO, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, and Azure environments.
Manage Office 365 tenants, Intune, and Microsoft Defender.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across software, hardware, and network interfaces.
Maintain system security, user access, and group policies in compliance with organizational standards.
Develop and document standard operating procedures and systems architecture.
Plan and execute system updates, patching, and performance tuning.
Implement and maintain data backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Unitrends).
Serve as SharePoint administrator and manage teleconferencing tools (Zoom, Teams, Dialpad).
Support system integrations and ensure seamless operation between critical platforms.
Automate tasks and workflows using scripting tools such as PowerShell.
Monitor cloud environments, perform diagnostics, and apply SSL certificates as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams and leadership on infrastructure upgrades, planning, and vendor management.
Participate in IT projects, documentation, change management, and staff training efforts.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced IT environment.
5+ years of experience administering enterprise systems and infrastructure.
Expertise in Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, Exchange.
Experience with virtualization technologies: VMware, VxRail, Hyper-V or similar.
Working knowledge of SAN technologies, networking concepts (LAN/WAN/Wireless), and cloud computing.
Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell) and endpoint management tools (SCCM, PDQ, etc.).
Familiarity with IT frameworks such as ITIL or Agile methodologies.
Understanding of system security, data protection, and compliance best practices.
Experience with SQL, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
Comfortable managing video conferencing platforms and enterprise telephony/contact center solutions.
