Summary of job contents:

Under the direction and guidance of the General Counsel, Paralegal / Contracts Administrator will support the various immigration applications submitted by the Company on behalf of its employees, as well as draft, review and/or negotiate various legal documents and provide legal assistance to all levels of the organization for six legal entities throughout North America (US, Canada, and Mexico). Duties may include research and compiling of international and /or domestic data, developing reports, creating and implementing standard processes, completing any/all projects as assigned, and performing administrative work either manually or using computer and various software.

Key accountabilities:

Under attorney supervision, draft, review and negotiate contracts including nondisclosure agreements, vendor contracts, purchase order terms and conditions (including FAR/DFAR), corporate formalities, and any documents requiring Festo signature for compliance with Festo's standard terms, policies and procedures for the Festo entities throughout North America.
Support of Immigration matters including working with outside counsel on the drafting and the gathering of documents in connection with E, B, H, TN, and other work-based visas, as well as permanent residence applications, as well as providing support to employees concerning their immigration applications in the US, Canada and Mexico.
Support of corporate formalities including the drafting of corporate minutes and filing of required documents and reports.
Act as primary point person for LinkSquares (contract workflow and database), as well as for SAP Contracts Database (parent company database) and drive innovation and automation throughout all legal workflows to maximize speed and efficiency.
Anticipate support needs of General Counsel across a variety of corporate legal matters.
Manage various legal department projects and initiatives.
Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as required.

Knowledge and Experience:

Draft and review of various legal documents for compliance with Festo's standard terms, policies and procedures.
Ability to issue spot and provide guidance on immigration mater as required.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with people at all levels of the corporate structure as well as with outside parties.
Ability to prioritize and timely handle numerous competing demands in a high-volume working environment.
Strong negotiation skills.
Identify and resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner.
Self-starter and self-motivated.
Easily adapts and embraces to new technologies.
Computer Literate (Microsoft Suite: including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
2-4-year college degree specializing in paralegal studies.
Minimum 5 years of relevant in contract review, drafting and negotiation skills with at least 2 years in immigration.
Experience with computers and software to enhance productivity.
Special experience in Paralegal Studies.

The annual base pay range for this role is between $89,000 - $105,000
