We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security & CCTV Technician to join our team in Orange County, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in burglar alarm and CCTV systems, a commitment to safety, and a proven track record in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This senior-level role is critical to ensuring the reliability, functionality, and compliance of security systems for our clients.
Compensation

Key Responsibilities
• Install, program, test, and maintain burglar alarm systems in compliance with local and national codes, manufacturer specifications, and industry standards
• Diagnose and repair system faults or malfunctions efficiently and effectively
• Perform detailed inspections and complete accurate service and inspection reports
• Stay current with local and national codes and regulations to ensure full system compliance
• Provide professional customer service, addressing client concerns and responding promptly to service calls and critical issues
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of yourself, coworkers, and clients
• Install, configure, and service CCTV cameras and recording systems
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of low-voltage wiring and the differences between TVI and IP camera systems
Systems & Technologies
• Burglar alarm systems: DSC, Honeywell
• CCTV systems: Hikvision, Luma, Ubiquiti
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in burglar alarm system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in programming and configuring various burglar alarm brands and models
• Experience with both commercial and residential security systems, including custom homes
• Knowledge of low-voltage and electrical systems (electrical experience is a plus)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Experience
• Strong working knowledge of CCTV systems, including Hikvision, Luma, and Ubiquiti products
