Czar Press is an industry leader in our niche field of letterpress, foil, embossing, and flat printing.
We are looking to find an awesome person, like yourself, to help our clients visions
become a reality. We work with top graphic designers from around the
country to bring to fruition their lavish ideas.

The position is for a PRESS OPERATOR, that knows, or has a touch point with print making on a Heidelberg printing press to create letterpress prints. The job is for those looking to work hard, but also want a creative environment to call home. If this describes you, please apply, and tell us “What makes you awesome”. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
⁃ Setting up registration for letterpress jobs
⁃ Reading estimates to understand what you are printing
⁃ Working with other printers to ensure the job gets completed correctly
• Doing press checks with the project coordinators
• Being able to look at art proofs to make sure the print is to spec.
• Pigment color mixing to match requested Pantone Solid Uncoated colors.
• Opportunity to cross train and learn die cutting, paper trimming, duplexing, and foiling / embossing.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• A highly positive demeanor, and communication skills are a must!
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Extremely organized, and able to act, and follow through on projects independently
• Must be able to lift 40 Lbs. or greater, from time to time.
• Must be able to climb a step ladder up to 6 ft tall.
• Some sort of print experience or training. *We can do on the job training, but there has to be some baseline of understanding print, and machines.

Not Required, but a big PLUS:
• Print or paper industry background
