We are seeking an exceptional finance and administration to become a trusted, long-term member of our leadership team in a successful, established small business.
This is not a basic bookkeeping position. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in producing accurate financial information, maintaining structure and accountability, and helping ownership operate with confidence.You will work directly with an involved and detail-focused owner while partnering alongside a strong General Manager who oversees daily operations.
The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, proactive, highly trustworthy, exceptionally organized, and capable of managing the financial and administrative side of a growing business with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities

Full accounts payable and accounts receivable management
Perform monthly accrual-based close and maintain accurate financial records
Manage reconciliations, schedules, and month-end reporting
Ensure accuracy and consistency within QuickBooks and supporting systems
Maintain organized documentation and financial processes
Assist ownership with financial visibility, reporting, and operational follow-through
Coordinate with outside CPA/accounting firms as needed
Monitor cash flow, vendor payments, and administrative workflows
Help identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, and areas needing attention before they become problems

Qualifications

Strong QuickBooks experience required
Experience with accrual-based accounting and month-end close required
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong Excel and financial reporting capability
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Professional communication and discretion
Stable work history and strong references preferred
Small business experience strongly preferred
