ATCO is seeking an IT Assistant to join our team to provide general IT support for the IT department and for the company’s computer users.

We are seeking an IT Assistant to join our team to provide general IT support for the IT department and for the company’s computer users. The IT Assistant will support the IT Manager by tracking inventory and other IT reports; prepare computer equipment for shipment to remote employees; work with employees being offboarded to coordinate the safe return shipment of company assets; and handle IT inquiries from employees. Perform other duties as assigned. The candidate will work out of our office located in Snohomish, Washington, reporting to the IT Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Help manage the inventory of IT equipment
Assist in the setup and maintenance of hardware and software systems
Conduct system upgrades and ensure software updates are implemented as needed
Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees
Monitor MSP (Managed Service Provider) ticket queue and troubleshooting to users
Collaborate with IT staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations
Create user guides and tutorials as required
Keep accurate documentation of IT systems and support activities
Provide training to employees on new technologies and software tools
Set up and manage employee workspaces, ensuring all necessary resources are available
Any other duties as assigned

Proficient in O365 applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Teams

Physical Requirements:

Alternate sitting and standing at will (sit/stand desk)
Requires viewing a computer screen for long periods of time
Must be able to lift weights 35+ pounds

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) required OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the essential duties of the position
