Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Percolation, Geotech Soils, and/or Civil 3D Technician to join our innovative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to geotechnical and civil engineering projects by providing expert support in soil analysis, percolation testing, and advanced CAD modeling. Duties:
Conduct percolation tests and analyze soil properties to support foundation design and site development
Prepare detailed geotechnical reports including soil classifications, test results, and recommendations
Civil 3D Ability is not a requirement, but a Huge Benefit.
Develop precise civil design models using Civil 3D, incorporating grading, drainage, and site layout plans
Create construction detail documentation aligned with building codes and project specifications
Utilize CAD software such as Civil 3D.
Collaborate with engineers to develop schematics, BIM models (Building Information Modeling), and construction drawings
Assist in building code analysis to ensure project compliance and facilitate smooth permitting processes
The Ability to perform Structural Calculations for Single Family, Metal Buildings and Commercial projects would be a Huge Plus.
Requirements
Proven experience with geotechnical soils testing, percolation analysis, and civil site design
Proficiency in CAD software including Civil 3D a Huge Plus but not required.
Strong understanding of construction detail documentation and building code compliance standards
Hands-on experience with 3D CAD modeling and BIM tools for engineering projects
Knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) processes and schematic development
Ability to interpret geotechnical reports and translate findings into effective design solutions
Excellent drafting skills with a focus on precision and clarity in technical drawings
We are willing to Train for the Field Work for Soils and Percolation Testing.
Structural Calcs Knowledge for Metal Buildings, Commercial projects and Retaining walls is a also Welcomed.
